Another ski tour in the Belledone massif, this time the popular Rocher Blanc. As it was Ivan and Laurie's first ski tour, we decided to take it easy and split it into two days with a night at the Refuge de la Combe Madame. If we had known there were no mattresses and blankets in the hut (despite what we had read and been told), perhaps we would have brought sleeping bags instead of heaps of good food and fine. In any case, a memorable introduction to the finer details of ski touring for Laurie and Ivan!
